The "3 Dancing Witches" #7

This is a very exciting piece for me. The dolls are the result of a dream I had of witches dancing together in a circle. The details of the armature came to me while asleep and I worked it out in my dream till it was the way I wanted. They stand 25" tall at the tip of their pointy hats. Handsculpted separately and then put together. Using"prosculpt" polymer clay on the heads, hands & boots, felted wools and cottons for the garments and found treasures for their finishing touches. They each have their own magic bag to carry their most personal belongings in. Displayed on a marble turn table so they will "dance" at the slightest touch. I am very pleased with the way this piece turned out. The "3 Dancing Witches" took almost a month to complete. 

The "3 Dancing Witches" are in the fall issue of "Art Doll Quarterly" magazine as a featured article hitting the stands August 1st. Signed by me and #7 in my logg book
